Lots of rain has fallen over the last month.

After a month of using my newly install Circupool RJ+45, I have questions.

After initial install in early June, my FC was 4 and CYA was 70. I had the SWG set to 60% for 6 hrs/day. My FC has been getting lower so I recently bumped it up to 100% for 9 hrs and will keep a closer eye on readings. Is it normal/ok to run it at 100%?

Also, My previous SWG didn't have the features this new one has. What do the Voltage and Amperage reading indicate or why should I pay attention to it? Are my readings normal?

Thanks

Add liquid chlorine to get to the FC that you want and then use the salt cell to maintain that FC level. That's how these work. The voltage and amperage are just visuals to confirm that the cell is operating.

With your initial settings of 60% at 6 hours a day, your SWG, at best, was only producing 1.4 ppm of FC daily. During the swim season, most pools burn 2 to 4 ppm per day. You should do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to rule out algae. Algae is not always visible.

In pool math, use the "effects of adding" component to calculate how long and at what percentage to operate your swg to achieve approximately 4 ppm per day. Below is a screenshot example showing your initial settings.

Your amps and voltage are normal. Take a look at the manual for explanations of what they mean.
