SWG install - RJ 60

I'm going to be making the switch to salt water soon and have a few questions. Will be installing the Circupool RJ-45. All help is appreciated.
1. With my current control panel, do I need to purchase a separate timer, or will this handle my needs. If it matters, I run my pump 24/7.

2. Looking for some suggestions/layout of how to run plumbing after the filter.

3. Is it common for SWGs to go on sale soon?

1. Power your SWG through the filter/pump relay so it should turn on and off with the pump. You may want to connect your VS main pump power to the line side of the filter/pump relay and then you can connect the SWG to the load side.

2. Install the cell vertically between the 90 coming out of the filter and the 90 going into the valve.

3. Hard to say with all the supply chain issues with pool equipment.

UPDATE.....

Installed the Circupool RJ 60 today with the vertical install kit. Original plan was to install after the filter, but removing the chlorinator looked like the easier install. Going to run it on 100% for 24 hours to get a baseline of FC output, and then will dial it down. I suspect I will only keep it at 10-15% during the winter.

I'm not sure of it makes a difference but I think the cell needs to turned the other direction so the wire is on the side the water enters.

I had to think twice about that myself and just went with how it was positioned according to their website 😄.

On a side note, just checked this morning and there are small bubbles coming out of the returns so that would indicate it is working properly and producing chlorine gas.
