While I find dumping gallon after gallon of liquid chlorine soothing , I'm considering a Salt System.

I have a hayward VSP pump and want to move toward complete automation.

Is this acceptable:

I have four valves -- but will probably re-configure to only need three.

I don't have and "features" or solar.

One reference says that the PL-PLUS will do 4 valves, but another says 3 valves.

If you're sure that you only need to control 3 valves, then it should work.

If you need to control 4 valve actuators, check with Hayward to be sure.

What VSP do you have and how old is it?

Some VSPs don't work with automation.

I have the 3400VSP. It's four or five months old.

I have four valves right now. However, I can combine the Vacuum/Skimmer and Main Drain skimmers in to one 3-way valve.

My pool is 25K -- that generator is for 40K. I can still use it, correct? I can kick it down to halfish?
