I am trying to figure out how to install two swg’s in parallel or series and control them. I read in another post that you set one to 100 percent and then fine tune by running the other cell at whatever is needed to get the levels correct. I am using a Hayward Hlbase automation system with 2 Hayward tcell 940s. I understand in principle how this is supposed to work but having trouble figuring out how it will actually work. If one cell is set to 100 how can the other cell know how much to operate at?

You need to calculate what % to set both cells. Set one cell at 100% and then the other at whatever remaining amount of FC % you need.
