SWCG Install before Solar Heat OK?

Not sure if this was resolved but I will be plumbing my Core 55 shortly and I also have a solar heater with very similar plumbing. I was wondering if it is OK to plumb off the discharge of the filter to bypass these problems or is there a very specific reason to be at the last line before entering the pool. Is it pressure spike related?

You return from the solar might not be high enough pressure for a flow switch anyways. It’s standard that the last thing to be plumbed is normally the SWCG. If nothing on your solar array has any metals and you can get the proper flow I don’t see it as a big issue.

Thanks for the quick reply. My pool shed has the pump next to it and my solar 3-way valve is next to utility garage 15 ft away. It would be a pain to put the SWCG that far away from the electrical while its the same water circuit.
