Sunstone Pearl pool finish - are my feet going to be ok!!?

We have only ever had liner pools and having just moved to FL have to go with a concrete pool.
I’ve ready horror stories of bleeding feet and children not being able to walk after a couple of hours in the pool.
Admittedly the reviews were a few years old and I imagine the product has improved, but would welcome and recent feedback from anyone who has experienced it. Thanks!!!!

Pebble finishes are rough to me no matter how much someone tells me they aren't. Have you thought about a quartz or plaster finish?

We are going with hydrazzo which is polished smooth. There are others that are also polished smooth that you might like.
