What are some average measurements people choose when installing a sunbed... Also a seat/bench in the deepend.. How far down from waterline or from top of beam? Thank you getting ready to tie my rebar and wanna make sure im right with my setup

This tanning bed is one step off patio onto it.. So i was thinking no more than 12" from top of tile

There have been discussions regarding the heights of tanning ledges. Heights generally vary between 9 and 18 in. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer.
My pool also has a single step down onto the tanning ledge. It's 8 in from the top of the tile to the top of the step, and 12 in down to the tanning ledge.

My Active30 will not stay on my tanning ledge, which is 12" deep water. It will climb up on the ledge and then back down almost immediately.

Mine gets up there and cleans a little. Sometimes it ends up flipping when it climbs up the side while on the sundeck. And if I have an umbrella in one of the holes I have to remove it or else it'll wrap the cord around it. Generally I just brush the sundeck into the deeper part of the pool when I put the robot it.
