Sulfur smelling water

Thanks! I found that one and it doesn't seem to have calcium hardness (I'm assuming the hardness value there is total hardness) and the iron in some samples seems right on the lower level of when staining issues may start happening. My dad works for a water treatment facility in another city, and he'll be able to take in a sample of my water to test for those things.

No, VaBch city water was always good- it comes from far away if I recall? The wells had a lot of iron (at least mine did) as you could see it stain the sidewalks as you watered the grass.
You can find a city water report or call the county in Princess Anne. Take a sample of city water in to the pool store and ask for a metal test. Those are the only tests we will accept from pool stores because buying them yourself is pricey.
If the water looks good fill with city water.

Yeah, we get our water from Lake Gaston!

The mineral hardness is fairly low(less than 50ppm). I wouldn’t worry about the iron levels. Unfortunately there are measurable sulfate levels which isn’t necessarily bad but it’s not great either. Sulfates won’t bother swimmers but it could affect equipment like SWG’s and metal components like ladders and hand rails. Keep that in mind as you design the pool.
