Suction Side (Zodiac Ranger) hose coils, doesn't reach far end

Hi,

I recently purchased a Zodiac Ranger suction cleaner for my AGP. I'm having a problem where, once it makes a couple trips around the pool, the hose coils up and effectively shortens the travel of the cleaner. As a result, the far end of the pool rarely gets cleaned. I'm facing the jet down, as the instructions call for, and the hose is just long enough enough to stretch over the furthest edge when attached to the skimmer. You can see what i mean in the attached picture. Does anyone know how I can prevent this?

With that size pool I'd return that and get a robot!

Robot is the best answer. Second best, buy an extra section or two of the vacuum hose.
