I have an in line chlorine distributor and was curious if I would be best having the pump come on later in the day and shut off as soon as the sun goes down since the sun is chlorine's enemy. Will that help with the performance of the chlorine maybe give me a little more bang for my buck? watcha think?

Makes no difference. The sun's UV rays deplete chlorine regardless if the pump is on or off. It may seem to make some sense to chlorinate at night but in reality, it is of little help.

Thanks for the reply, ya I was figuring since Im using an inline chlorinator that it may help since its only pumping in chlorine as the pump runs. I was hoping this way I would not have to add much stabilizer since I like using tablets and would like to avoid too much cya.
