We opened our pool last weekend and it was very green. We started the SLAM process Tuesday (this is Saturday) after balancing TA-110 and pH-7.2. CYA was good at 50.
Our shock target is 20 and we've been pretty consistent at keeping it there. The green faded to cloudy blue by the next morning. Were keeping an eye on return pressure and backwashing as needed. We're still super cloudy though and have a CC of 1. Do we just keep doing what we're doing and be patient?
