Step Heights in new Vinyl Pool - Advice Please

Hi All,

Please see atached final draft for our new pool. The builder was pushing for a 3ft shallow end but we have insisted we want 3.5 ft. We are a litle concerned the steps are now too high, plesae can you let me know if this is normal range and if its normal for the last step to be heigher than the rest?

If you have any other comments or reccomendations on the plans before we push the button please do let me know.

One part shows 3' 10" and the other part shows 4' 0".

3' 10" - 6" waterline = 3' 4".

It looks like Latham does not like the 5' shallow end.

NONCOMPLIANT AREA.

DOES NOT MEET GENERAL BUILD SPECIFICATIONS.

SHALLOW END (K) DIMENSION MUST BE AT LEAST 6'

LATHAM SUGGESTS YOU REVIEW THE NONCOMPLIANCE WITH THE HOME OWNER TO BRING POOL SPECIFICATIONS UP TO THE CURRENT STANDARDS AS IDENTIFIED.

The builder has said the 2" delta refers to a diference between the actual panel and top of concrete.

You want 3' 6" depth, but the calculation is 3' 4" depth.

3.5' = 3' 6".

3' 10" - 6" = 3' 4".
