Stenner Pump Outdoor Use Rated?

Hi all,

Enjoying the reading on automating LC injection using a pump like those from Stenner. In looking over their website, I see that only the S-Series is NEMA 4 rated. I also see that the pictures from some of you show a boot or hood over the top of the pump, I am assuming to deflect rain. How many are using the non-NEMA-rated models outdoors, and have you observed good results?

I believe the Stenner pumps with the rain caps are fine for outdoors...mine is 3 years old and I've had no issues. I do bring the pump into the garage after closing for the winter.
