Stenner Pump Interlock

Hello,
I have a Jandy Aqualink system (I didn't choose it, it came with my home). I have just installed a Stenner pump for muriatic acid injection, and I've connected it to Aux 5 on my Aqualink RS system as that was the next available relay slot. I have been trying to find information on how I can set the Aux 5 relay to be interlocked to the Pool pump so that Aux 5 (Acid Pump) will only run when the pool pump is running. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, how?

I realize I could simply pull the power for the stenner pump from one leg (The Stenner pump is 120v) of the output of the relay for the pool pump and run that to the Aux 5 relay, but I feel like there should be a more elegant solution built into the Aqualink system.

Thanks in Advance for the help!

You can just provide power to Aux 5 from the switched side of the pump relay. The Aux 1 delayed interlock might be nice to avoid pushing acid when the pump hasn't primed yet, but maybe not necessary.

Note the pump is probably 240v. If the Stenner is 120, you'll need to pick one side of the pump switched circuit and neutral for the other.

What is on AUX 1?

Aux 1 can be put on interlock.

Can you move whatever is on AUX 1 to AUX 5?

Thanks for the info James. This would work for me if it didn't force the "Cleaner" title as currently AUX 1 is the waterfall pump. I'd hate for someone to think they were turning on the cleaner when it's actually the Stenner Acid pump. I REALLY wish the folks who built my house would have used something other than Jandy. It's fine equipment, but the way they make it so hard to get information, impossible to purchase equipment to install myself, and their short-sightedness on things like this really make me wish for something better. I feel like I'm stuck with a system designed in the late 90's that had a wifi connection added in the late 00's. I don't know if there's something better on the market, but I feel like there has to be.

Looks like my only choice is probably to use one leg of the power for the pool pump to feel the Aux 5 relay.
