Stenner injector clog

I am also experiencing the "crust" in the CL tubing where it meets pool water. The pool builder has plumbed in the injection tube so that the actual tube is within the 2" flow line post filter / heater. The rationale from the builder is that this would reduce the crystalization in the CL tubing, but I find this to be a circular issue that keeps causing trouble every few months (or sometimes sooner). I can't help but think that the issue is pool water mixing with the sodium hypochlorite within the tubing while that pump is idle. Can anyone back me up on this hypothesis? My next planned step is to add the stenner check valve. I'm sure these have their downsides and will fail like all mechanical devices, but it may last longer than a few months... maybe even a full pool season would be great! Thanks all for the feedback.

^^^This...I have not had an issue with this injector/check valve in 5 years of use. You can get a threaded T for the check valve...

Thank you. This solution makes sense and I've ordered a couple of check valves from SCP.
