Stair tile/markers with pebble sheen

Currently under construction and looking at my stairs I have concern people will misstep. Thinking of adding a board along the tanning ledge and edge if the steps. PB states they don’t do this often but can make it happen.
I am going with the pictured tile for my water line and pebble sheen blue surf. I was thinking of a lighter gray or lighter color tile 1x2 to use as outline edge.

I think a gray tile might blend in to the blue surf pebblesheen and not stand out to see the edge of the steps, look at the pebble side when making your choice for the tile markers because that is the side you will see. :giggle:

Yea I want something to stand out but not be so noticeable it becomes an eye sore. I had to take a picture of the back to see the color label. I just forgot to take a photo of the pebble side also. :(

Does anyone have pictures of a gray or lighter color tile on the steps?

You are in luck as quite a few people on here have blue surf! Check the link i added below or search for blue surf using the search bar, hopefully you can find some. :) I will have blue surf...but only at plumbing stage in the build right now. I am going to have some multi-color tiles for my accent toe tiles. (my waterline tile will be black
