Started pool up this year, finally killed the cloudiness. I noticed it was a tad low so i filled it up for a couple of hours with the garden hose. I noticed some parts of the steps and liner stain a bit...is this from my hardly hard water? My water hardness without running through the softener is 15grains and 0.3ppm of iron. Is this the result as shown in the photo? Its brown-ish and shows up in horizontal lines as if there were standing water at that level but it was never as low as the entire stairs not covered (and staining is present on all parts of stairs).
Any ideas on how to diagnose?
