Stable pH. I guess this is a good thing?

This is the 2nd year my fibreglass pool has been up and running. Everything went well last year (thanks to TFP), and this year is going great as well... too well.

Last season, the pH would raise fairly predictably. It would go up to around 7.8, and then I would drop it down with MA to 7.4 Repeat every week or two. Pool maintained with liquid chlorine. This year, the pool opened at about 7.4 pH, and never went up. In fact, it has hovered between 7.2 and 7.4 all summer so far. Not a drop of MA has been needed. Still using liquid chlorine, haven't changed anything I am doing to the pool. Fill water is around the mid 7s; same as last year.

What gives? I'm not complaining, but I'm just trying to figure out why it's not going up anymore. I even have my return jets tilted up (I like the water noise, the look, and it forces debris towards my skimmer better), which I didn't have set last year.

What is your TA now and what was your TA last year?

The lower TA the better for stable pH.

A TA of 50 is fine.
