Sta-Rite Posi-Clear Cartridge Filter Part

Hello folks!

I am looking for a replacement for the drain cap at the bottom of the filter housing. It looks a lot like a 2 liter bottle soda cap and is part number 32185-7074. Clearly I can get in on-line but the best deliveries I am seeing are at least week or more.

Does anyone have a sense of what the thread is on this part (I know it is 3/4" dia according to the manual) and if there is something else I can easily get at Loews or Home Depot to use in its place? Local pool store wants $30.00 - yes $30.00 is correct - for this piece. On-line is much less but a tremendous wait.

It almost looks like a garden hose end-cap would fit huh? I can't confirm, but if you have one laying around might be worth a check.

You are 100% right - I picked up 2 from Home Depot for $1.64 including tax. Looking forward to cancelling the order with the pool store.
