Sta-Rite heater (new) constantly firing and colling down

As the title says, I have noticed that the heater seems to be firing up to maintain temp when it's high enough, and then promptly turns back off and does a heater cool down. Doing this hundred of times daily can't be good for it. I use a Pentair computer to maintain/monitor the temp with a Pentair temp sensor.

Thoughts on how to solve for this?
