The heater is only about a year old.
No warranty since I bought it second hand (craigslist) but new still in the box.
The person selling it thought it would run off of the small grill LP tanks. He did not have a large gas supply so never was able to use it.
I had to LOL when he told me that.
Also installed it myself with a experienced friend. It’s been working great for the past year.
The blower is working normally, I smell gas. No error codes. I hear clicks.
Inside I noticed the red light blinking 3x stating an ignition lockout. I did notice some mice/rats must have made it home for a while. Cleaned it out good. Thankfully no wires were damaged at all. It still looks fairly clean and new inside.
So everything led me to the igniter. I took it out and noticed a small crack. See the picture.
I’m not sure how this could have happened or if this would cause it to not work. It’s kind of strange. Maybe the recent hurricanes shook it up enough to crack it. I’m in Florida.
Would this small crack on the igniter cause the heater to not fire?
I saw some for sale but they look different. Like flat. But state it’s for this model. Would it work?
Can anyone send me a link to this replacement part?
Of course has to happen just in time for cool weather [emoji4]
Appreciate any advice!
