This wire is apparently a com wire running from the Intellicenter into the heater. We lost control on the app. Any easy way to fix or does the entire wire need to be replaced?
How are your wiring skills? I would just replace the entire wire. HD sells outdoor rated thermostat wire (with varied # of wires) by the foot that should work. Let's see if anyone else has advice.

There are splices you can do but to splice it right you need to put it in a weatherproof box. Doing this can end up harder than replacing it and you end up with another connection that can fail. I agree with the others - just replace it. Next time you're out there at night and want the heater you'll be glad you won't need to worry if it's going to start. That alone makes it worth the effort!
Couldn’t find a two wire so got a 4 wire outdoor wire from Lowes. Got it done, put some protector around it also. Also had to replace the heater thermostat that failed. Heater was throwing error and high temp readings up to 129. Heater approaching 3 years old. Thanks all!
