Spa spillway issue

Our PB said (7 months into construction) that the spa was supposed to be tiered like the drawing, but the gunite people didn’t follow the plan. So, he thinks we should do a tile spillway or maybe do the stone like on the wall but flat.

Any thoughts on whether we can have it reworked to resemble the original plan or is he correct in that we need to go in a different direction?

Tile would look WAY better for that whole wall, both sides...

Tile all the arrows.. Make sure the water is away from the xxxx in the back towards the wall... you do not want water running down that area.. The attachment has the options of what you need to do the tile..
