So I have slammed for the last 2 weeks and finally met all the requirements 2 days ago.

The Problem I have is that the pool has been covered the last two days for bad weather and is raining again today. I let the pool stayed covered with the robot vacuum running just waiting for the FC to come down

So this morning we checked after wating the 24 hours with cover closed and we lost 1.5 ppm of FC but our CC went back up to 1.

Im not concerned too much of FC drop but a little concerned about the CC.

Should I just continue to get FC back in range so i can test ph again? all other numbers on test are the same as initial test otherwise.

The closed cover can cause the CC.

Open your cover and let your pool breathe even if it is raining. Pools like to get wet.

Nope.

Pools stay uncovered in the rain without problems all the time.

It is covering the pool that creates problems with CC and pH.
I was unaware of this. I thought having a cover on all the time would be the most beneficial. Thanks for informing me. I will try to keep cover open a few hours each day
