Some advice needed

Hello pool experts,
I am learning how to look after my gunite saltwater pool with shear waterfalls. My pH naturally wants to rise to 8, and it’s a daily effort to add acid to bring it down into the ideal zone (I aim for 7.7 as a compromise but I have water features so it rises every day back to 8). At pH 8.0 my LSI is good at 0.03 on Poolmath, 0.0 on Orenda. I keep my TA around 60 max. I am concerned about keeping pH at 8 for a long time incase of scaling etc. should I be more concerned about LSI or keeping pH in check? My pH ceiling is currently 8.05.

On Pool Math app the calculation is CSI. See the difference between the two.

It is best to keep CSI as slightly negative -0.3 to 0.0 with a SWCG to prevent scaling.
pH is a big factor - in summer normally need to keep it in 7.6 to 7.8 range.

To keep the ph from running away on you don't run the waterfalls all day. Atleast 10 minutes twice a day to keep the water chlorinated and for when your at the pool otherwise shut them off.
