Solar Cover???

Hi All, We just bought a solar cover and cut it to fit our free form pool. Question of the hour is hour do we keep the water that comes from the spa overflow into the pool from pooling on the cover? I'm worried that the cover will sink to the bottom of the pool Thanks in advance for your help.

The cover will not sink, or everyone would have that issue during a rainstorm, the bubbles will keep it afloat and when water builds up it will go over the edge into the pool

If the water only falls a few inches from the spa, you can cut out the cover where the water lands. I've done this to two pools and have had no problems.
