Solar Breeze NX Arrived Today

Just got my Solar Breeze NX today. Didn't have a chance to examine it too much, but appeared to be built well. We sat it in the sun for a couple hours to charge, read the manual, then into the pool it went. Seemed to do what's expected, but I'll report back after a week or so of use.

So far it seems to be doing the job quite well. It has gotten stuck a couple times, once when the corner lifted up onto the skimmer opening edge, and the reverse process didn't have enough power to pull itself off. Another when it bottomed out onto one of my steps. Attached is a picture I took last evening after a cloudy day, so not much sun to charge its batteries. But it still filled it up pretty good. The mesh also holds the finer stuff, and spiders, which often remain alive which creeps my wife out and gives her an excuse to not clean the tray. We're probably only a third of the way through the leaf drop in my yard, so more to come. I still have to scoop leaves off the bottom with the net, but noticeably less. So far so good.

I hope they have improved the materials used for this....it is going to be getting a lot of sun and chlorine exposure etc. Thats probably my main concern.
