Small Rust-Through in Pool Wall

Hi,

I have a rusting spot on a 24ft round above ground pool wall. There is a small amount of water leaking through - see picture. This is a little more than halfway up the 4-foot wall. The pool is going to be removed this spring anyway, so I'm not concerned about attempting a repair. I just don't want this to turn into a bigger problem before the removal is done.

My questions are -
1. Do I need to be concerned about the pool wall bursting in the next 4-8ish weeks?
2. If yes - can I drain the pool about halfway and leave it without worrying about wind damage and the like?

Nobody can say for sure.

Halfway probably leaves too much wall exposed to the wind. I'd rather take the chance it lasts until you take it down.
