Small leak from air-bleed assembly.

The air bleed continues to leak after the spade handle is closed all the way. I tend to think an o-ring needs to be replaced, but I am unable to remove the spade handle. I turn it counter clockwise until it is all the way open then it just stops. I try pulling, but no luck getting it out. Don't want to break it. Any ideas how to remove this? I think there are some pins that lock it, but there is no indication it is pulled out far enough to even squeeze the pins together.

Is that the original? The air relief valve has a round knurled knob on the end, not the spade knob. You can try to unscrew the knob all the way and see if it backs out of the valve body but if it can’t then you’ll have to replace the valve body. If the gauge and tank coupling are all in good shape, then a new valve looks to be about $30 to replace.

Thanks. You're right, the new model is a round knob and not the spade handle. I ordered a new one for $27.00.
Meanwhile, I was able to stretch an o-ring over the handle. This did the trick. My pump is running with no leaking~!
