Small divots in bottom of new above ground pool

Hi all again,

Our above ground pool got installed about 2 weeks ago. It was done professionally and they laid sand, etc. Just noticed today that there are about 8-10 golf ball size divots, maybe 3/4-inches deep, in the bottom of the pool. Is this concerning long term, or normal for pool installation? Wondering if I should call the installer?

that is the problem with sand bottoms.. You will get more the more you go into the pool.. it is sand, it has LOTS of weight on it but it can still get divots...

Thank you. Glad to hear it seems to be a common occurrence, and not the start of something catastrophic. I'll stop worrying.
