Having issues this year, even thought I did well last year.
Neighbor has a very large Oak tree and it gives me fits. So, decided to cover this past winter.
Prepped and covered. All good. Two major storms before I could open for the beginning of the season, cover had some damage.
Stayed on longer than I wanted with my work schedule. The cover started disintegrating. Got it off, pool seemed
OK. Debris on the bottom turned out to be disintegrating cover. Started process.

Cleaned as much as I could, Running vac with fine filter and believe I got all of the plastic out. That was a chore.
Issue. it is cloudy, but not really white. If that makes sense. I have been slamming (18) it and it is dropping 1-2 overnight.
This mornings readings

CC 0 I rarely ever get any. Not sure why.
pH 7.8 This was hovering at 7.2 aerated last night to bring it up
TA 80 *This jumped from 60 over night after adding 1.5 gl 10% liquid to it back up last night. Had not been climbing like that.

I know I'm missing something, just not sure what. And wifey is in Holiday mode. So....
Thank you. Going to search more in the forums.

Have you taken the stairs our and cleaned inside and out? Have you scrubbed everything?

Maybe post a picture?
Sorry, my error. yes. I've had the stairs out since closing and have been brushing. I have even gotten rid of the Confer Stairs, as they were my problem in the past. I now have Stainless Dock/Boat stairs that can be removed. When I first took it off it had a slimy feeling along the sides, but that is cleared and nothing seems to move when I brush. Note: in three years my liner has faded, a lot more than I think it should have.
