According to pool math I needed 446 oz of liquid chlorine for 22,500 gallon pool to reach slam level of 20 FC before closing.
I checked FC after 2hrs run time and FC is 1O . (20 drops of FAS/DOD )
Up to this point I routinely maintained a daily level of a 4 FC with no CC’s.
i tested chlorine levels just before adding the 446 oz and level had maintained a 4 during 24 hr period with no CC.
I’m sure I don’t have anything organic using up the chlorine.
I don’t understand the discrepancy. Why is it not testing 20 FC
The water temp is 55 degrees.
Was planning on closing it tomorrow.
what to do now?
Questions:
Can I close it at a 10 FC and be ok?
Could the Chlorine be weak since it’s Nov.
