Slam & Sabbath

Hi everyone, I opened my pool Wednesday and started the SLAM process yesterday. I’m Sabbath observant and cannot touch my pool for 25 hours starting this evening. My shock level is 10 (CYA 20). How high should I try to get the FC level before I have to stop?

Unfortunately - 10. It's never a good idea to over-shoot the SLAM level simply because of other committments or absence from home. Just do what you can for now and resume once you are able. Good luck, and have a nice weekend.

No non-observant folks that can swing by and dump a gallon of bleach in there for you tomorrow? Or could even run a test if you walked them through it (either teach them ahead of time or can tell them tomorrow as long as touching/work is all you're having to avoid)?
