Hey all, new to the forum but long time lurker. Been using pool math and the big pf pro test kit for a few years no issues but opening this year is a little different. SLAMED opening with very little algae, within a day was Crystal clear, 2 days for 0 CC. Pool water has TC 21 but my TC seems to be falling only .5 per day since it's cool. I think it's been 36 hours since I last added chlorine and it came down from 21.5 Now the real question is do I need my pump on this whole time until TC drops to it's proper level or can I kill the pump and run it's normal 10 hour cycle?

Make sure you explain the differences between TC, FC, and CC. TC isn’t generally useful so I assume you mean FC?
