Skimmer Leaking

Hello,
I am brand new to this group and this is my first post. Please excuse my complete and utter lack of knowledge around pool ownership. We just installed an above ground pool two weeks ago and I just noticed that our skimmer is now leaking quite significantly. Any idea what could be causing this? I am wondering if the water level might be too high. If so, how would I lower the water level? Again, brand new to pool ownership and have no idea what I am doing.

Yes water looks high. Use the two middle vertical screws as a reference. Upper being max fill, lower being min fill.

As far as the leak, is it coming out the top or somewhere else? If it’s just the top, no problem once you adjust the water level.

Is it leaking from the skimmer somewhere or splashing out the top somehow?

water level is very high

You can lower the level in the pool with a sump pump, or if you have a waste setting on your pump you can lower the water that way.
