Skimmer/Auto fill Assistance

Looking for a little help. I'm doing a byop and am not sure how to proceed. My skimmer and auto fill are lower than my coping. I'm adding artificial turf around where both will be. My questions are, do I build the concrete up around the skimmer/auto fill then place the turf over it? Do I use collar extensions to keep everything connected?

By building the concrete up around the two it will provide strength and stability. When the coping is high you will need to use the collars.

Those came with the pour-a-lids.

auto fill are lower than my coping

Is the auto fill the float arm, type or the toilet valve?
ours was the float valve and was installed too low. It required me to bend the arm funky to get anywhere near proper water height. The toilet types can be adjusted higher
