I’ve searched the web and here and found tons of photos of ledges but only one or two of them with people. I’d love to see pictures of how people are using them. With chairs? Expensive loungers? Are people sitting right down on them? Be great to include depths as well, thank you!

Dogs normally are swimming, but sometimes will lay there to cool down. Grandkids use it a lot. No people in the chairs, but these are from Sam's Club, and have stainless steel hardware that has not rusted in salt water. Reasonable priced, and heavy duty.

Just a thought... On depth, it can be confusing. I was expecting my water depth on the shelf to be higher... but that is because the Fiberglass Shell might be 12" deep from the top ledge, but that is not water level. Water level for me is actually around 9.5" +/- 2". I am sure that with any pool that variance would exist. Water level is a few inches lower than the top of the pool.

For size estimations - my ledge (above) is 6' x 16' ...less the curved edges.

I have no photos, because I'm in the pool with no phone. Water depth is about 8"-9". If I'm the only one out there, I will be on the lounger. The wife doesn't like the loungers because she can't rotisserie herself, so she typically uses rafts/floats. If we have people over, some will be standing in front of it and others will be sitting along the edge. Dog sometimes gets in and walks around on it. The young kids will use it as a landing spot so they don't have to swim as far. They are up on it and then jump off to chase their dive toys.
