Greetings
This will be my 3rd season using the BBB method, very thankful for what I learned on this forum. I was wondering if its is worth it to vacuum to waste as soon as I open pool before even testing water and adding bleach. Will this speed up process by removing any large algae or should I just let the bleach , brushing and time do its work of course with all other water balancing included. Thank you

Absolutely. The more yuck & muck you can get out of the water, the faster the chlorine will work in your favor for the smaller stuff. Don't forget to watch your FC & CYA levels closely if you do a lot of that however since chemicals will go out to waste as well. :)
