Should I add a puck to the skimmer?

My pool looks great, and the chemicals are balanced. I test chlorine and pH every other day, and I add liquid chlorine per the pool math app's suggestions. My question is, should I use a stabilizer-free chlorine puck to help keep the free chlorine at the suggested level?

We don't recommend pucks. Stabilizer free pucks are cal-hypo, they add calcium to the pool. Calcium is like CYA, you cannot remove it without replacing water. When calcium gets to high, you can get scaling on the liner.

If you decide to use pucks, use a floater. They are acidic and can damage the skimmer and the equipment.
