Shotcrete quality question

Shotcrete for a new pool build was completed a few days ago. I'm owner builder. I noticed that there are around 20 voids in the concrete ranging from 1" to 3" deep. I also noticed quite a bit of what looks like honeycombing. Is this expected quality for shotcrete? If not, should I expect the shotcrete company to address this?

Voids are common in Shotcrete and Gunite, the depths are what you need to be concerned about. At a 3” depth you could possibly be getting close to the steel cage and run the risk of water rusting the steel and making its way to the surface and staining the plaster. Hydraulic cement is used to fill the voids prior to the application of plaster. On a side note, are you keeping the shell continuously hydrated?

Thanks for the reply. Good to know this is common. I read up on how to use hydraulic cement to repair these voids. I’ve been working hard to keep the shell hydrated. I know thats important.

In the last photo.. Is that the rebar showing in the corner?
If so, that definitely needs to be covered better.

The last photo is the corner between the spa bench and the spa dam wall. That does look like it could be rebar. I checked it and confirmed it is not rebar. It is just a small bit of concrete that can be chipped off.
