Shooting Gunite with Well water?

I’m curious to some of your thoughts or experiences. At first our pool builder was going to bring a water truck in for the Gunite install and now I’m being told our well will work (fine by me, saves some money). However it has me curious why at first they said the water truck and now they say they will use water from my well to apply the Gunite. Any experiences with this situation? If your pool builder used your well, did everything go smooth?

I would be concerned that the well pump cant keep up. I'd there's iron in the well water that can create issues too

So that was the original concern I believe as far as the keeping up part. They mentioned nothing about iron. My well is 8GPM and I really wasn’t sure what it took to shoot it but haven’t had much luck on this subject online.

Is it gunite or shotcrete?

How many gpm can your well do continuously?

How many cubic yards of concrete will be used?

What is the size of the pool and what will the thickness of the concrete be?

8 gpm probably isnt enough since the continuous flow is probably much lower
