Sheer Decent Hose

Hi all,

I posted this at the end of last season but posting again as I have a better view of what’s happening. The supply hose has detached from the sheer decent. It doesn’t look like anything is broken, but the glue failed. Suggestions on what type of glue/cement I should use to reattach?

Show all connections for the run of flex. The fitting that the flex has released itself from seems to have more going on than just a broken glue joint. It appears the flex line has torn. It should be re-plumbed with schedule 40 for pressure….the wall may need to be opened to reveal if the fitting is useable or not. Flex hose was not the correct choice for the application.
