About 2 months after the completion of our pool, I noticed a few hairline cracks in the concrete decking our builder installed. I made mention of the cracks to the builder, but they brushed me off and said nothing.
It's been about a year since the build and those cracks now span the length of their concrete portion (if that makes sense). They travel from the coping to the edge of the decking. There are thin cracks that circle the skimmers, too. I've attached photos to illustrate what I mean.
Should I be concerned about these? I know that cracks happen in concrete all the time, but I wasn't expecting them so soon. Maybe I should have? I'm sure the ground had to settle somewhat. I'm just worried something more nefarious is going on under ground.
