Sequestrant for iron compatible w/Polyquat 60?

I read the stain guide and our staining must be iron because Vit C wipes it right off. Ordered the ascorbic acid but I'm confused about which sequestrant for iron is compatible with Polyquat 60, which I was planning to use to keep algae away while the chlorine's down?
