FC at 11.5 as of 7:30am this morning, last chlorine add was last night around 9pm. Whatever's going on this seems to be working.

FC - 18.5 at 130, no bleach added since 10am still. Added another 3+ cups...hopefully I pass the overnight test tonight and I'll be done with this shenanigans.

So I'm still in the SLAM process believe it or not...I was really hopeful that this would take less time than it is...and this heat is NOT helping. FC dropped to 3.5 from 7:15 this morning until about 5pm when I got home from work. Still haven't passed the overnight FC test, everything still seems on track. FC in the morning has religiously been 17.
Passed the OCLT this morning... 19.5 FC as of 630am, last test was 20 at 9:20pm...Going to let the pump keep running until I get home tonight and then toss it back on the timer.

So really...the next question is...what do I do with that enormous bucket of 3" tablets that I bought to "start off" my season...haha. I guess I'll keep a couple for when we go away and use a floater...and play hockey with the rest?
Apparently the pucks last a long time, so you're probably good for several years of vacations. They're also handy if your CYA drifts down over time and you want to top it up.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said. Keep them dry, they can be used for vacations as long as you know how they affect your chemistry.
