I'm now on my second Intex Krystal Klear SWG that has failed. The second one was just out of warranty so I'm SOL! I had to order a replacement titanium diode and this failed to fix my low salt alarm. I bypassed the sensor but that did nothing. I now have to deal with returning the part for a refund. Not sure what to do at this point. Pool is 7K gallons 18X12X52 Cartridge filter.
I used to get 2 years out of them on average. At the end of the season you can sometimes find them on the closeout aisle for under $100, so I'd usually pick one up to have a spare on hand.
