Hi
Im in central florida. im trying to find out if there is any pet safe product to use which will deter insects from infiltrating my otherwise clean pool? These bugs seem to appear every summertime, around July.

Welcome to TFP! Boatman bugs, Backswimmers, flying ants, you name it we got it. They love our pools, and some of them migrate in twice a year. Not much you really can do about them. Some people will claim to try various natural products like eucalyptus, citronella, cedar, etc, but it's a guessing game at best. Even with over-the-counter pesticides those pests make it to the pool. Maybe not in large numbers, but some do.
