I am in the same position and have wondered the same thing a few times. I think we will eventually have a overlay done on ours, but probably not until next spring. @jimmythegreek What do you think?
After 30 days its best to seal any cementatious product including pavers amd concrete decks. And a high quality sealer should be used not home depot stuff

Is there a product you recommend ? Would I just pressure wash the deck and apply the sealer with a pump sprayer after it drys?

Following....I just finished about 2000 sq. ft. of concrete decking around my pool.
There are two main types of sealers. There are the surface sealers that don't really penetrate. They make the surface pretty. The stores like Home Depot sell these type of sealer and are usually acrylic. They degrade quickly and you will need to reseal every few years. The other type of sealers are penetrating sealers. There are several main sealers such a silane, siloxane, and siliconate, and mixtures of these sealers. These sealers penetrate deeply into the surface and can last 10 or more years. They also don't change the appearance of the surface. One brand that is highly rated is made by Foundation Armor. They make both a solvent and water based version of this silane-siloxane sealer.

I like penetrating sealers. I use alot of SRW products. Their commercial line is fantastic but pricey, about 50-60 a gallon. With pavers i use paver clean then apply with sprayer and use a special slotted foam roller. With concrete I'm less picky amd it depends on if homeowner is going for a wet look or natural look. I seal everything on my jobs.....all stone work, anything cement based even retaining wall stone. Saltwater pools will eat your hardscaping after some time. It must be maintained every 5 to 10 years depending on location amd sun orientation

If it is regular concrete, no color no stamp....do you still recommend sealing? Thank you.
I do recommend it. Keeps the concrete from staining most importantly, and helps with keeping the slab in good shape overall. I've seen concrete decks lose their finish layer exposing aggregate from constant pool water sitting by stairs and diving boards. Easily prevented by sealing it. Cheap insurance to me

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I am also looking at what to do with sealing my pavers and natural stone. I have quartzite flagstone coping and some of it will also be used in areas of my decking along with pavers. I am hoping to use a sealer that will both protect well, but also enhance the color of the flagstone. @jimmythegeek, what would recommend for that job? Would I use the same sealer for the pavers as the flagstone? Also would you do anything with the ledgerstone on my retention wall. It is a quartzite stacked stone veneer.
