This is for Fafco panels with 2 inch headers.
Has anyone heard of installers using sealant on the couplers?
It appears sealant was used on my original install and it is now leaking at one of the couplers.
I swapped the leaking coupler and cleaned the inside of the coupler and the outside of the solar panel and after reassembly it is leaking more than it was before.
I plan to call the installer today to ask them but I wanted to ask here if anyone has done this or heard of it being done.
An installation manual I found online doesn't indicate use of any sealant.
