Pool was installed two and a half years ago I am now getting a large amount of residue when I rub my finger against the sealant between the tiles and the concrete I'm getting a large amount of gray residue. This doesn't seem right wondering if there was some COVID issues with making the sealant. I had to have them reinstall it because the first time it cracked like crazy. Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks

Any idea what product was used in there? In the picture, at least, it looks like some sort of caulk that doesn't really get hard (as opposed to grout). Is the residue you're getting on your finger powdery or more like a moist smudge of caulk? Sort of looks more dry / powdery.

I've been using Lexel clear sealant before closing each year to go over the top of any areas that show cracks or spaces (between top of tiles and bottom of coping). So far so good. Great stuff that holds up real well. Lexel - Sashco
